The update of Collabora to version 25.4.7 not only comes with several bug fixes and improvements such as the DOCX and PPTX compatibility, it also introduces the new Follow Me presentation mode, which allows users to synchronize slide presentations.
For better collaboration, with this update the new Reinstate function was introduced for Writer. It allows users to reject proposed insertions or changes, while preserving the change history in the document.
Additionally, the recently introduced markdown import/export feature has been improved.
The update of Docs, our joint project together with DINUM, to version 4.1 introduces several new features. Now, it is possible to export notes, in addition to PDF and DOCX, as ODT and HTML (.zip).
As a significant new feature, notes can now be commented on. This significantly improves collaborative work. Additionally, notes can be restored from the trash, and PDF files can be directly embedded in notes. Notes can now be linked together, and content can be arranged in multiple columns.
The update also fixes a moderate security vulnerability.
The update to Open-Xchange 8.44 offers improvements on UI and middleware for more stability, configuration and performance. Included are enhanced UI-options as well as improvements on accessibility, consistency and reliability.
