Open Project 17.5.0 introduces project-specific work package names. This enables users to see at a glance which project a work package belongs to. This is particularly helpful when migrating from JIRA, where this type of naming convention is also used.
This update also introduces the ability to exclude certain work package types from backlogs, which helps to improve clarity. A revamped backlog container and sprint overview also provides a clearer picture of day-to-day work.
Another new and useful feature worth mentioning is the improved scheduling for recurring events. This now allows for more flexible scheduling, such as events that are only to take place on the first Monday of each month. Email notifications for appointments have also been adjusted, meaning that significantly fewer emails are now sent out.
In addition to these and other features, the update includes further bug fixes. The detailed changelog can be found on the Open Project website.
