openDesk 1.17.0 introduces improvements to project, file editing, mail and video conference. The update from the portal also addresses security vulnerabilities in Keycloak. As always, we recommend updating as soon as possible.
This update includes OpenProject 17.6.0, which introduces a number of new features.
The recently introduced sprint feature has been expanded in this update to include sprint goals and a sprint overview. Sprint goals enable you to set a clear objective for users involved in the sprint, which is visible to everyone in the sprint header. The new sprint overview also provides a summary of all sprints in the relevant backlog, complete with key information. Furthermore, backlog buckets can now be added directly within work packages, provided they have been enabled for the relevant type.
With this update, agenda items from meetings can now also be converted directly into work packages, so that important topics can be acted upon straight away.
The semantic identifiers for projects, introduced in 17.5.0, have been further expanded in this version. They are now displayed consistently across all export formats, such as CSV or PDF.
